SUN 10 NOV (14:00 – 16:30) / Shooting film Casting Call: Episode I
Artist Eleni Kamma and her team will shoot some scenes for her film Casting Call: Episode I. You might encounter them in some areas of Centre Céramique and you are warmly invited to watch or even participate during the recording.
Casting Call is a socially-engaged artistic project initiated by Eleni Kamma in 2017. It explores how we, European citizens, may come together to speak up our thoughts and listen to each other through humour, laughter and excess. Can we rethink local theatrical traditions (such as the Carnival and parades) as an opportunity to create spaces of commonality in Europe of today?
Casting Call: Episode I is the first part of a trilogy. It is supported by the Mondriaan Fonds, Theater aan het Vrijthof, VAF FilmLab, M-Museum Leuven and Grensverleggers/deBuren. The project will be shown during Museumnacht Maastricht in 2020.
