Reflecties

Lezing over reflecties

Reflections

In autumn 2017 the Céramique neighbourhood association organised a photo competition for residents in the area. The competition was open to all amateur photographers living in Céramique, from dedicated photojournalists to weekend shutterbugs. The task was to capture a reflection in the neighbourhood on film.

Visitors to the exhibition can vote on their favourite until Sunday 15 April by sending an email to kunst@bpfceramique.nl with the reference and/or name of the photo. Alongside the people’s favourite there will be three photos chosen by expert judges that will be announced on Sunday 29 April. The judging panel consists of Etienne van Sloun (professional photographer and member the Céramique neighbourhood association’s Kunst team), Jean Willems (member the Céramique neighbourhood association’s Kunst team) and Ad Himmelreich (curator of the Province of Limburg art collections).

Before the winners are announced on 29 April, Etienne van Sloun will give a lecture (in Dutch) about the theme of reflections on the basis of his own work and the submitted photos.
